Transpose a song into a key that fits you. We read the key off your file, shift it by the semitones you pick, and tell you exactly where you land — A minor to B minor, not "+2".
Most transposers hand you "+3 semitones" and leave the counting to you. This one measures the key of your upload in the same pass as the shift, so the result says F major → A♭ major. If the audio has no clear tonal centre it says nothing instead of guessing — the same rule as our key finder.
Count from where you are to where you want to be: every semitone is one piano key including the black ones, or one fret on a guitar.
Singing along and it just sits wrong? Try one or two semitones at a time; the difference between "nearly" and "comfortable" is usually smaller than people expect.
Shifting the whole mix moves the backing and the vocal together. If you want the backing in a new key and no vocal on top of it, split first: the instrumental maker gives you the backing on its own, and the acapella extractor the voice. Then transpose the one you kept. Only after the key, without changing anything? That's the key finder. Only after speed or pitch in plain semitones? The pitch changer is the same tool with the speed slider up front.
