The short version

You upload an audio file, we split it into stems, you download the result. Your upload is deleted the moment processing finishes, and the generated stems are deleted from the server within 45 minutes. We don't have accounts, we don't build profiles, and we never listen to, share, sell or train anything on your audio.

What we process

Your audio file — held in memory and temporary storage only as long as needed to separate it. The upload is removed immediately after processing; the resulting stems are wiped within 45 minutes.
Basic technical data — IP address and standard request headers, used only for rate-limiting (so one user can't monopolise the GPU) and for security. Not linked to your audio, not used for profiling.

What we never do

No accounts, no e-mail collection, no tracking of who uploaded what.
No storing, sharing or selling of your audio.
No use of your files to train AI models — separation runs on pre-trained open-source models.

Advertising

StemGrab is free and kept running by advertising (Google AdSense). Google and its partners may use cookies or similar technologies to show and measure ads; where required, consent is requested through Google's certified consent tools before any such cookies are set. See how Google uses information from partner sites. You can manage ad personalisation at adssettings.google.com.

Copyright & your responsibility

You may only upload audio you have the right to process. The stems you create are for your own lawful use; publishing or distributing separated material from someone else's recording may require permission from the rights holders.
